Volume Up: Ipsy June Glam Bag

Is it just me or has June passed by in the blink of an eye? I feel like I just wrote my blog about my May back, and here it is almost July! Despite having a super crazy month, I’m loving this summer weather and all the fun it brings!

This month’s bag was a little disappointing, but I have to say it had its highlights. Read on to see what I got!

I liked this month’s bag a lot more in person than in the teaser photo. It’s a canvas like material and is surprisingly roomy.

NYX Professional Makeup Whipped Lip & Cheek Soufflé in “Pink Cloud”

Retail: $6

I had high hopes for this because I love the NYX Butter lipsticks, but this just didn’t have any staying power. The color is nice though, so I’ll have to try it as a blush next. 3/5 stars.

Full size retail: $54

I have a hard time seeing the difference in different masks. They all make my face feel fresh and clean and hydrated, but nothing has yet to wow me. This one was fine. 3/5 stars

PEEK Beauty Multiuse Black Primer

Full size retail: $22

I don’t wear dark shadow much, so I’ve been having a hard time finding a use for this. Because of this, I haven’t used it so I can’t review it.

PÜR Mini Fully Charged Magnetic Mascara

Full size retail: $22

Okay, I definitely thought PUR was a water filter brand, but apparently there is a makeup brand with a similar name. This mascara wasn’t the worst I have ever used, but it also doesn’t top my Too Faced Better Than Sex. 4/5 stars

Trust Fund Beauty Nail Polish in “Game Changer”

Retail: $15

This is easily my summer go-to color. The polish is high quality, goes on even, and I had it on for a whole week with no chips. I’ve gotten a Trust Fund polish before, and since there is no way I would pay $15 for one bottle of polish, this is one of the ways that my Ipsy subscription is worth it. Definitely my favorite item in this bag! 5/5 stars

July bags should be up soon, and I can’t wait to see what it looks like!
