Week 6 is in the books! This one was really hard, but somehow we survived. Here’s what we did:
Sunday: 8 Easy
Monday: 1 mile warm up, 4x 1 mile, with .25 mile recovery, 1 mile cool down
Tuesday: 5 Easy
Thursday: Tempo 8
Friday: Easy 5
Saturday: 15 Long
All was going well until Saturday. The schedule called for 16, but I got dehydrated or something and started feeling horrible after 8. I managed to get to 15 before I called it a day.
This coming week most of our training group has a race on Sunday, so the hard workouts will cease after Monday while we take it easy. Personally, I’m looking to PR my half next Sunday as long as the weather cooperates! Stay tuned for more updates!
